As one of the premiere jewelers in the area, we stand behind everything we sell. If it’s in our store, it must meet our expert approval. We treat all of our customers like friends and family. If we wouldn’t give it to a member of our family, then we won’t offer it for sale in our store. Additionally, we carry one-of-a-kind pieces that you won’t find anywhere else.

Meet The Team

Seth B. Tanguay

JEWELER

Seth grew up in the jewelry industry by helping out his father when he was young, eventually becoming an apprentice in high school. This path led him to study at North Bennet Street School from 2005 to 2007. His exceptional skill not only earned him high praise, but he gained valuable experience working part time at Tanguay and taking on repair jobs. Since graduation, he has quickly risen to Tanguay’s main jeweler and has become known for his delicate, intricate, unique work and expert craftsmanship. He also has his signature engraving skills that certainly stand out, earning him a loyal base of repeat customers. Seth is always crafting something unique and intriguing, channeling his creative energy into breathtaking custom pieces. Brian P. Tanguay

WATCHMAKER

Certified Watchmaker Brian P. Tanguay started repairing watches for a living at age 18, training at the Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking and becoming certified by the American Watchmakers Institute in 1976. His business started small, but with his talents he was soon servicing 12 different stores around MA. He moved to Fitchburg in 1980, merging his business with his grandparents’ jewelry store. The newly formed Murphy Jewelers flourished with Brian’s services and expanded quickly. He invested in a new building in Gardner to diversify his sales and services, and named this new venture Tanguay Jewelers. It has been incredibly successful ever since, influencing Brian to sell his interest in Murphy to his brother shortly after his move. Brian maintains his reputation as a master of repairs with a deep inventory of vintage parts. He’s well-known in the industry as a seasoned expert that has worked on vintage wrist watches dating back to 1920.

Part of the Community

Tanguay Jewelers has played an important role in Gardner’s community since he bought that building on Connors St. in 1985. Tanguay has been a member of the Greater Gardner Chamber of Commerce since opening, and we cherish each and every instance of community interaction and support.
